Our client is a Financial Technology company based out of NJ looking to hire a Full Time Remote Project Manager for their team! The Project Manager will work with upper management and project team members to establish project needs, set and meet deadlines and maintain project budgets in a digital financial technology space while adhering to project timelines. ResponsibilitiesAs the Project Manager, you will need to possess a diverse skill set that includes leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and risk management. Additionally, you will be responsible for guiding a team of professionals to complete projects by established deadlines, supporting business initiatives, and ensuring a productive work environment. Other important responsibilities include but are not limited to:Defining project scope and objectivesDeveloping detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reportsConducting project kickoff meetings to communicate individual roles and project expectationsSecuring and managing project resources including staff, vendors, and materialsAllocating and directing staff to carry out project tasksCreating and maintaining project timelinesEnsuring timely completion of project milestones and final deliverablesEstimating and managing the project budgetTracking project expenditures and ensuring the project remains within budgetary constraintsEnsuring project deliverables meet quality standardsImplementing quality assurance processesServing as the primary point of contact for project communicationsProviding regular updates to stakeholders on project status, including any changes or issuesIdentifying potential risks and developing risk mitigation strategiesAddressing problems and issues as they arise and implementing corrective measuresEngaging with stakeholders to clarify requirements and expectationsManaging stakeholder communication and fostering necessary buy-inDocumenting project progress and ensuring all necessary sign-offs are obtainedCreating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation and archivesLeading and motivating the project team to achieve its goalsFacilitating conflict resolution and team building activitiesEnsuring project compliance with company policies, and industry standardsPreparing reports for executive leadership that provide project details, such as the state of the project, any issues, and the projected next stepsConducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.Closing out project accounts and ensuring all aspects of the project are completed satisfactorily.Incorporating lessons learned into the company's project management approach
